sup DD. In reference to your post on the DIC site: I like how you are trying to help the people who aren't in the bar yet and get them to plan ahead. I was wondering if there was some other place too, that you could give out the water bottles, or inform people of this program. Because you were talking about giving out free concert tickets it might be a good idea to try and get music lovers in on this too by giving out water bottles at concerts. People are always drinking alcohol at concerts and then driving home. If you gave them a bottle of water with your label on it about free concerts, it might cause that person to stop drinking and drive other people home so that they can get free tickets. Concerts are a good place to find people who aren't only interested in drinking unlike a bar. One other thing to consider: Will there be a list of participating bars on the water bottle label? What bars are participating? If i go to Price Chopper in Overland Park for my water bottle will i be able to take it to any of the 100s of bars in KC to claim my prize or will it only be available at bars in the area. I think it would be ok if it were only a few bars. Sorry to go on, but this brings me to one last thought. Pre gaming is done by only the most committed drinkers who, even when they're sober, don't care about being caught drinking and driving. They actually plan to drink and drive. Something going for you is that your giving out free stuff and this group does like to save money, being that they are trying to save money by drinking before they go to the bar. But most people like free stuff regardless? As i was saying, most pre gamers are numb to the risks involved with drinking and driving and aren't interested in finding someone to drive them around either. Does the drinker get free stuff as well for finding the DD. I know the Driver gets free stuff but what about the pre-gamer who was already planning on driving. What's to prevent the drinker from abusing this program, going to bars and picking people up while being intoxicated.
