the elements aren't working well together right now. seems like the distorted type is saying the same thing as the NP, and not looking as good as the NP. see what you can do using a more minimal type palette -- not introducing those distorted forms in there (at least not those) -- and also trying to compose the piece so there are stronger relationships between the elements. remember your soph compositions where your dots had to communicate a point through their spatial relationships only.
